I think far too many touches are required to fully exit the app.
I thought the red Quit button would fully exit the app, but it does nothing different (at least on Android) to hitting the back button and requires an extra touch (on the three dots) to get to it, which makes its existence rather pointless.
Using the Quit button requires a total of six touches to fully exit the app. Just using the back button takes 5 touches - still too many.
I would suggest that the red quit button still put up the confirmation dialog in case it is touched accidentally, but that once you answer yes to this then it should fully exit the application.
If I want to go back to the route overview, route selection or route editor I can use the back button for that.
