POI stands for Point of Interest. These are useful landmarks, such as hotels, restaurants and petrol stations. You can display, import, export and use POIs as a navigation destination. In this manual you can read what is possible with the POIs in the Routeplanner.

For specific information about exporting POIs to a Garmin or TomTom, read Garmin - Export or TomTom - POIs.
