With the MyRoute-app you always have all your routes at hand to go on an adventure. There are several manuals for the app. In this manual, you can read everything you need to know when you open the app for the first time.
The app can be downloaded for free from the App/Play Store.

First time in the app
When you open the app for the first time, these screens will appear. Click on the image to enlarge. To see the next screen you can either click or swipe through it.
After seeing this introduction, the virtual tour will automatically start once. This is mandatory and briefly and concisely shows the possibilities of the app. By touching the screen you advance through the tour.
Start with the app
Read here how to log in to the app or how to create an account from the app. To get the full experience of the app, it is recommended to log in.
- Click on the button circled in red to open the menu or swipe to the right.
- By clicking on the button circled in red, you can access the app settings. If you are not yet logged in, you will see 'Login' above the settings.
- Log in here with your MRA details. It is also possible to log in using the Single Sign On option so that a Social Media account can be used.
- Don't have an account yet? Simply create a free account. The Single Sign On option can also be used here.
Location permission
iOS
The following messages are important to read carefully to make optimal use of the app.
- When the app is used for the first time, you will see this notification. MRA recommends choosing ‘Allow While using App’ here.
- When you start a track, this message will be shown. Select 'Change to Always Allow' to continue tracking when the phone/tablet is on standby or locked. If you don't do this, tracking will not continue if the app is not running in the foreground.
- This is the last important notification, but it is not necessary for the tracking to work. However, we recommend that you enable these settings to make tracking as smooth as possible.
Android
The following messages are important to read carefully to make optimal use of the app.
- The first notification asks if the app can use the location. To be able to track and determine your position, this permission must be granted.
- Immediately after this, this notification is shown with more details about the location permission. Select the option 'While using the app'. For optimal use of the app, it is also best to choose the option 'Precise'.
- The third important message is displayed when starting a track. By clicking on 'Allow all the time' it is possible to continue tracking while the phone/tablet is on standby or locked. If you don't do this, tracking will not continue if the app is not running in the foreground.
- The last notification asks for permission to access your 'physical activity'. This permission is not necessary for the track to work properly, but again we recommend it.
