Compare routes with tracks

We are working hard behind the scenes to implement exciting new features. The latest feature allows you to ride your own routes and those of others with a created route. Convenient and fun. This is how:

Compare your own route with the ridden track:

  1. Go to your profile and then to your routes;
  2. Select a route you have also tracked with the MyRoute mobile app;
  3. On the left, under 'Waypoints' and 'Favourites', you will also see 'Tracks';
  4. Click on "Tracks", locate the track belonging to the route and tick it off;
  5. Now you will see the red line of the ridden track over the black line of the route on the map;
  6. This way you can compare the ridden track and route, and adjust your route accordingly!

Compare a ridden track with another using a route:

  1. Ridden tracks of others can be found in several ways; Using the overview of activities, Via Routelab > Track library, Via Name > Profile > Tracks;
  2. Click on an interesting track ridden by someone else;
  3. By right clicking on the button "+ Use as route", the system sets way-points on the track line;
  4. Give the route a new name or use the original name;
  5. On the left, under 'Waypoints' and 'Favourites', you will also see 'Tracks';
  6. Click on "Tracks", the upper track is the original ridden track, tick it off;
  7. Now you will see the red line of the ridden track over the black line of the route on the map;
  8. This way you can compare the ridden track and route, and adjust your route accordingly!

Click on the video clip below for a visual explanation. Only in Dutch, sorry, but you do not want to hear my English, German and French. (And do not get confused: you can see a blue track line in the video clip. In the final version of this feature it was changed to red.)
