You've received a great route or found one online and would like to add it to MRA. No problem! Read this manual to learn how to upload a route, route-track, tracklog, and POI file to the website.
ATTENTION! This manual is only about the website. If you want to upload a route to the app, please read App - Routes & Tracks.
How to get started?
When you log in to the website, you'll immediately see the MRA Route Lab. Click Upload to upload your route, route-track, tracklog, or POI file to the website.
Alternative upload options
- You can also upload from your personal route list and track list. See the Manual 'Routes in your personal route list' or Manual 'Tracklogs in your personal tracklog list' for more information.
- You can also upload POIs from the Route Editor. See the Manual 'POIs' for more information about uploading POIs from the Route Editor.
Upload
After clicking Upload, you will see the screen below. The screens for the various options are generally the same, so only the route option screen is used in this manual. Click on the image to enlarge it and see the details.
- Upload options: Select what you want to upload here;
- Privacy mode: Change the privacy settings here (not for POIs);
- Transport mode: Change the transport mode here (not for POIs);
- File formats: See which file formats are accepted for the selected option here
- Route: GPX, ITN, TRF, TPF, KML, KMZ, or TAR.GZ
- Route-track / tracklog: GPX, KMZ, or KML
- POI: OV2, GPX, or CSV
- Choose file: Click here to choose your file(s);
- Name: Edit the name here;
- Delete: Click here to delete this file and not upload it;
- Cancel: Click here to close the entire screen and not upload anything;
- Import: Click here to import the chosen files.
