Add a waypoint

In this section of the explanation, several buttons are always the same. For clarity, these are the buttons, their functions:

  1. This yellow button has multiple functions. It allows you to add a new waypoint and serves as a confirmation button.
  2. The green check mark is the confirmation button. It allows you to permanently place floating waypoints on the map.
  3. The red cross is the cancel button. It allows you to cancel the current action.

You can add a waypoint to the route in several ways:

  • Press the map: This option is useful when you know exactly where you want to place a waypoint on the map. Press and hold this location, and a floating waypoint will appear. Confirm or cancel the action.
  • Find address: Select this option if you want to place the waypoint at a specific address. Don't forget to confirm or cancel your choice with this option as well.
  • Yellow button: Click here to add a new waypoint and confirm or cancel this choice.

Add and move waypoint

Sometimes you want to add or move a waypoint in an existing route. This is of course also possible in the in-app Routeplanner.

  • Short press on the route line: If you short press on the line, you can add a waypoint between existing waypoints and it will be placed exactly on the route line. Don't forget to add the floating intermediate point permanently by clicking on Add or the yellow button.
  • Long press on the route line: If you press on the line longer, the intermediate waypoint will be placed directly and exactly on the route line. However, if you move this intermediate waypoint, you can move it directly to a new location.
  • List of waypoints: You can also quickly move an existing waypoint from the list of waypoints. Drag the waypoint to be moved to the correct location by pressing the dots on the left and keep it pressed while you drag.

Waypoint menu

Click on a waypoint to display additional information. This can be done from the map or from the waypoint list. All these options are optional.

  1. Waypoint: Just like on the map, you can see which waypoint you've selected;
  2. Move: Click here to move a waypoint. Don't forget to click the yellow button to finalize the change. You can also move a waypoint from the waypoint list or by long-pressing and dragging the waypoint on the map;
  3. Type: Change the waypoint type here. You can choose between a formation point (the droplet icon) and a via point (the hand icon). ATTENTION! You cannot change the type of a start or end point;
